OWHS-567 1955-57 Rear Outer Wheelhouse Rubber Seals

The Real Deal Steel outer wheelhouse seal kit includes two 66" long rubber seals that seal the outer wheelhouse to the inner quarter panel. Also included are 32 pop rivets to hold the seal to the outer wheelhouse. Our kit is a major improvement and simplification over the now-discontinued original style seals that were difficult to install and often distorted the quarter panel sheet metal.

Each seal is held to the outer wheelhouse with sixteen 3/16" x 3/4" pop rivets. Start 1" in from the end of the seal and 1/4" in from the edge and drill a 3/16" hole every 4" the entire length of the seal.

Using the seal as guide, drill 3/16” holes in the outer wheelhouse. Start at the front bottom of the wheelhouse and drill and rivet the seal into place. Make certain the seal rides up slightly on the outer quarter leaving no gaps. Using some 3M #08011 Super Weatherstrip Glue between the rivets is a good idea. To hide the rivets, touch up with some black paint.
