Real Deal Steel LLC, well known for their high quality USA-built 1955-57 Chevy and 1940 Ford coupe steel bodies is proud to introduce their all-new 1967-69 Camaro coupe bodies. These bodies are 100% assembled in their factory in Sanford, Florida USA. Real Deal begins with the highest quality steel structural components and assembles them with their unique (designed in-house) assembly fixture for a factory fit every time. Once the steel skeleton is completed, the bodies are skinned exclusively with new 18-gauge steel panels from Auto Metal Direct. All structural and skin assembly is done using water cooled 220V resistance spot welders โ€“ just like you would see in a much larger automotive assembly plant. Real Deal uses 25% more spot welds than original to give their bodies added strength. Complete bodies include top skin and drip rails, quarter panels, rear body panel, doors, deck lid and dash โ€“ all fully assembled and fitted. Bodies are available with heater delete, stock heater or factory AC configuration. Bodies with RS backup light holes and rear deck spoiler holes are available at no additional cost. Real Deal also factory-installs their wider rear wheel tubs upon request to allow up to a 335mm (13โ€) wide tire in the rear. Like their 1955-57 Chevy bodies, the Camaro bodies are officially licensed by General Motors.
